Feel Good Friday: You Are Perfect

Happy Friday Folks!

Back when boy-band *NSYNC was in their hey-day, I saw them in concert at Foxboro Stadium. We were so far away they only looked about three quarters of an inch tall, but my little sister and I were so happy to just be there. My dad on the other hand, was not.

I was in for such a thrill that night and I didn't even know. The opening act was an artist by the name of "P!nk." I hadn't heard of her before. But when she came on stage and began belting out her first single, "There You Go," my little tweenie boppin' mind was blown.

More than a decade later she's still around, making music and sharing her incredibly personal songs with the all of us. Honestly, I'm super grateful. Pink's music got me through the most awkward stage of every human's life- junior high, and I'm sure her music is helping a whole new generation of kids get through that time.

Her latest single, "F*ckin' Perfect" is just one example of the many songs that open a window to her heart.

It also happens to be today's feel good tune.

"F*ckin' Perfect" is not warm and fuzzy. It is not a cute little kitten that wants to curl up on your lap. It's more like a mama lioness fiercely protecting her cubs.

Yeah, it's more like that.

So, sit back and relax because for the next four minutes and eight seconds Pink is going to tell you better than I that you should never feel like you are less than f*cking perfect.
